Eyedentity is a small team in Stockholm building decision support for the retinal image opticians already take. Clinical research, machine learning and years inside eye care, in the same room.
Why Eyedentity
We build machine learning that reads the fundus image an optician already takes and returns a risk assessment for uveal melanoma, at the earliest and most treatable stage. The journey starts at the optician, not at the hospital.
The model is built and validated with leading ophthalmologists and oncologists, together with a professor of ophthalmology at Karolinska Institutet and St. Erik Eye Hospital. Clinical judgment in the room, not only data.
It runs inside the workflow opticians already have, so a routine eye exam becomes an early warning. No new equipment, no new step, and the answer lands before the client leaves.

CEO and founder
Built the model. Formerly machine learning manager at RaySearch Laboratories, where he brought the world's first machine learning based automated radiation planning product to market.
CSO and founder
Ocular oncologist at St. Erik Eye Hospital and professor of ophthalmology at Karolinska Institutet.
COO and founder
Operations, finance and governance, with a background in banking, fintech and international projects.
Where we sit
Our desks are at Birger Jarlsgatan 57 in central Stockholm, in the Norrsken community. Work is hybrid, with respect for the rest of your life. Eyedentity is backed by Norrsken Launcher and Karolinska Institutet Innovations.

Deep technical and medical expertise meets a pragmatic, no-ego culture: we build what we actually need, not what looks good on paper.
